Today is the 151st birthday of Nellie Bly and wouldn’t you know, she’s been honored with the Google Doodle! Quite a follow-up to our 150th birthday present to Ms. Bly, our publication of Around the World in Seventy-Two Days and Other Writings, edited by Jean Marie Lutes. The doodle celebrates her feminist writings, her incredible round-the-world voyage, her war reporting, social exposes, and even specific career highlights–like her interview of Susan B. Anthony.
