Peter S. Beagle, Jacob Weisman, Ellen Klages, Jane Yolen, and Charles de Lint are all World Fantasy Award finalists
The finalists for the 2018 World Fantasy Awards were announced. Peter S. Beagle’s IN CALABRIA and THE NEW VOICES OF FANTASY (which he co-edited with Jacob Weisman), Ellen Klages’ WICKED WONDERS (as well as her Passing Strange), and Jane Yolen’s THE EMERALD CIRCUS all received nominations. Charles de Lint is to be given a Life Achievement Award.
Several other Tachyon writers and editors received notice including Ellen Datlow, Daryl Gregory, Tim Powers as well as contributors to the nominated THE NEW VOICES OF FANTASY: Carmen Maria Machado, Sofia Samatar. and JY Yang.
