Many Tachyon authors, artists, and editors including Charlie Jane Anders, Ellen Datlow, Cory Doctorow, Daryl Gregory, John Picacio, and Carrie Vaughn are participating in CoNZealand, the 78th World Science Fiction Convention (July 29-August 2).

The legendary event, held annually since since 1939 (except for the years 1942 to 1945, during World War II), celebrates science fiction. This years convention features Guests of Honor Greg Broadmore, Larry Dixon, Mercedes Lackey, George R. R. Martin. and Rose Mitchell.

Due to the worldwide pandemic, CoNZealand has had to move online. So instead of going to Wellington, New Zealand for a Worldcon, we on the CoNZealand committee are working hard to bring the Worldcon directly to you. The virtual CoNZealand will be, in many ways, an experiment in how to adapt to a future which science fiction writers may have predicted but science fiction fans did not expect.
