Many Tachyon authors will join Tachyon head honcho Jacob Weisman this week (August 17-21) for MidAmeriCon II, the 74th WorldCon in Kansas City, KA.

The legendary event, held annually since since 1939 (except for the years 1942 to 1945, during World War II), celebrates science fiction. This years convention features Guests of Honor Kinuko Y. Craft, Patrick Nielsen Hayden, Teresa Nielsen Hayden, Tamora Pierce, and Michael Swanwick.

Tachyon creators scheduled to appear include Ellen Datlow, Kate Elliott, Sheila Finch, Lisa Goldstein, Daryl Gregory, James Patrick Kelly, John Kessel, and of course Guest of Honor Michael Swanwick.
