Problems with HOLLOW WORLD pre-orders
Alec Checkerfield Uncategorized elizabeth story, Marc Simonetti, Michael J. Sullivan, pre-order, preview, science fiction
If you’ve tried to pre-order Michael J. Sullivan’s forthcoming sci fi thriller HOLLOW WORLD via Amazon and other online vendors, you most likely received this message or something similar.
There’s been a mix up that has required a change in the ISBN – as such the old pages are being replaced with new ones. It’s going to take awhile to populate the pages throughout.
We’re working on fixing the issue as fast as possible.
You can still pre-order Hollow World at the Tachyon page.
A FREE extended preview of Hollow World which contains the first four chapters of the book (66 pages) is still available.
Cover by Marc Simonetti. Design by Elizabeth Story.

Tachyon Publications proudly presents a newly discovered classic from the legendary fantasy author Evangline Walton
A gorgeous Tuscan villa harboring a terrible secret houses this beautifully harrowing adventure of ancient mystery and modern intrigue.
Archaeologist Richard Keyes and his resourceful young bride, Barbara, are expecting a blissful honeymoon in a welcoming new country. But from the moment they arrive in their secluded new home, circumstances conspire against them. A car crash leaves Richard lying unconscious in a bed surrounded by frescoes of a benevolent goddess, while a far more sinister deity of alabaster in the courtyard seems to gain power in the night. When a beautiful young Tuscan, Florian, appears in Barbara’s hour of need, she is drawn to his seductive charms.
The key to an ages-old mystery lies in the catacombs under the villa, in a conflict reawakened after generations of sacrifice, betrayal, and madness.
Evangeline Walton is the author of the Welsh mythological tetralogy The Mabinogion and the Theseus trilogy as well as The Cross and the Sword and Witch House. She received the Mythopoeic, Leiber, and Locus awards and was honored with a World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award. The majority of her novels were written by the early 1950s, and her legendary short stories include “Above Ker-Is,” “The Judgment of St. Yves,” and “The Mistress of Kaer-Mor.” As a child, Walton suffered chronic respiratory infections and was treated with silver nitrate tincture, which changed the pigment of her skin to blue gray (perhaps reminiscent of an Etruscan deity).

The Secret City is a wonderfully understated meditation of being different, of not fitting in.

From the Barnes & Noble Review on The Bible Repairman: Powers’s subtle and beautiful prose is never flaunted, but always works in the service of his stories, which are marvels of ellipsis and concision. See the full review.
