Carrie Vaughn’s THE IMMORTAL CONQUISTADOR, the gratifying origin story of Kitty Norville’s vampiric friend Ricardo “Rick” de Avila, makes for an enjoyable stand alone work
Prior to publication, Carrie Vaughn’s THE IMMORTAL CONQUISTADOR garners excitement.
PUBLISHER WEEKLY praises the fun book.
Vaughn presents a gratifying origin story for Ricardo “Rick” de Avila, vampire Master of Denver and partner to the popular werewolf heroine of her Kitty Norville series.
This fun character study works as a standalone but will hold special appeal for series fans.
Both THE BOOK LOVER’S BOUDOIR and READER REMAINS enjoy their first Carrie Vaughn experiences.
I’d never heard of the author before or Kitty Norville. Clearly I’ve been missing out. I really enjoyed this book so will probably check out more work by the author. I have a fondness for vampire fiction and the more original and interesting the better. THE IMMORTAL CONQUISTADOR ticks all the boxes for me.
THE BOOK LOVER’S BOUDOIR
This tale was enjoyed as a stand alone … admittedly I have not previously been entertained by the words of Carie Vaughn. I intend on rectifying this mistake by delving into the adventures of Kitty Norville … reportedly his friend and ally.
