R. B. Lemberg, author of the Nebula Award finalist THE FOUR PROFOUND WEAVES, shares their abundant experience in the Clarion West Writing Workshop “Poetry Techniques for Fiction Writers”
In the online Clarion West Writing Workshop “Poetry Techniques for Fiction Writers,” R. B. Lemberg teaches authors how to use poetry tools in drafting and revising fiction, and poem outlines to flesh out the emotional structure of stories. The class occurs on Tuesday, April 27, 4PM-6PM PDT.
In this workshop, we will learn how to pay attention to language using poetry tools in drafting and revising fiction. We will also learn about poem outlines, and how we can use them to flesh out the characters, the worlds, and the emotional structure of stories.
This workshop is suitable for writers of all levels. Experience writing and publishing poetry is not necessary for this workshop, but please be prepared to experiment with poetic techniques as tools for exploring fiction.
This workshop is available to anyone aged 18 or older for a $55 fee.
