THE VERY BEST OF FANTASY & SCIENCE FICTION, VOLUME TWO is a killer anthology

For Galaxy’s Edge, Paul Cook reviews The Very Best of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Volume 2.

Gordon Van Gelder is the current editor of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, and as with his earlier volume of this series, has put together a killer anthology of the very best from F&SF.

This anthology is a healthy mix of both fantasy and science fiction. The emphasis, as Van Gelder says, is on the quality of story-telling across the decades, and some of our best story-tellers are here. My guess is that you’ll find something here you hadn’t read before (I did) and stories that are worth rereading.
