The Nebula, World Fantasy, and Philip K. Dick award winning author of THE FALLING WOMAN, POINTS OF DEPARTURE, BONES, A FLOCK OF LAWN FLAMINGOS, and THE SHADOW HUNTER, Pat Murphy turns 60 today.

Alongside her other literary accolades and pursuits, she co-founded (with Karen Joy Fowler) the James Tiptree, Jr. Award. With Debbie Notkin and Jeffrey D. Smith, the duo edited three volumes of THE JAMES TIPREE AWARD ANTHOLOGY.
