According to BOOKWEB, former manager of San Francisco’s Books Inc. Ken White established Query Books, a publishing company that “focuses on republishing significant LGBT novels, biographies, and histories.”
Through the reprinting and republication of LGBT works, Query Books will call attention to important and well-written titles that have fallen out of print, plus the works of authors who died before their works had a chance to become part of mainstream literature.
“Query Books is a challenge unlike any I’ve taken on before, and it’s a bit scary for that. Don’t be surprised if I ask for help!” said White. “But the response so far has been overwhelmingly positive; it seems to be tapping into a need that’s really out there, and to be wanted.”
Look for their initial offerings this fall.
